About The Role
This role is responsible for continuously monitoring asset health data to improve reliability and performance, providing consistent communication and reporting, and delivering engineering solutions to reliability issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reliability projects, including plant modifications and innovation projects, focusing on safety, cost reduction, and equipment reliability improvement.
- Evaluate fleet performance using data analysis tools, identify trends, and create reports to guide reliability strategies.
- Lead root cause analyses to address equipment failures and optimise performance in line with business safety and financial goals.
- Continually liaise with suppliers and OEMs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow the Thiess Change Management Process for all proposed changes to Asset Strategies & or Design Registrations.
- Monitor diagnostic and condition monitoring activities when needed to improve equipment MTBF.
About You / Qualifications
- Trade qualification / Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience.
- Experience in maintenance operations with large mining equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., JDE).
- Knowledge of contract management, including subcontractors.
