We are working with a leading UK manufacturing company in County Antrim that is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large AP team with career progression and opportunity.

• Process vendor invoices, expense claims, and credit notes in accordance with company policies
• Verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper account coding
• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes (3‑way matching)
• Prepare and process payments (bank transfers, cheques, or electronic payments)
• Maintain accurate vendor records and reconcile vendor statements
• Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., VAT, withholding tax)
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Maintain organized and up‑to‑date AP files and records
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments as needed

• Proven experience in an accounts payable role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
