Assistant Accountant / Accounts Technician Up to £36,000 + Benefits Joining a fast-growing construction business with a focus on the healthcare & medical sectors, you will support the company with daily transactional processing, reconciliations, reporting, and project cost tracking. Working alongside the Finance Manager, you will be:
Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledgers Prepare journals and assist with monthly management accounts Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments Manage bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow reporting Support credit control and debt management Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat, and RCT/CIS reporting What we are looking for:
Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping 2 years' experience in a finance/accounts role Knowledge of Sage 50 or other accounting software Positive and proactive approach In return you can expect a generous package, benefits and progression opportunities.
