Product Development Design Engineer

Position: New Product Development Design Engineer

We're hiring an NPD Design Engineer to drive innovation and development across our client's Mobile Plant product line. These self-powered, tracked platforms integrate advanced mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems-delivering high-performance solutions for demanding environments. Your new role Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you'll lead design efforts from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and service.

You'll contribute to new product development, support existing product lines, and perform testing and analysis to enhance performance and reliability. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering 3 years' experience in equipment design and manufacturing Proficiency in Solid Works (or similar 3D CAD), Microsoft Office, and ERP systems Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, structural, and electrical/control systems Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines

Experience with stress analysis, hydraulic circuit design, costing, and performance testing Knowledge of manufacturing processes including cutting, forming, and welding Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills Desirable Criteria:
