Design Engineer

Your new company Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their dynamic will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to production, with a particular focus on Solid Works 3D modelling. Working closely with their production and fabrication teams, you will ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with their quality and safety standards.

Your new role Support the development and refinement of existing products Participate in new product design and development from concept to completion Ensure designs support efficient manufacturing processes, making adjustments as necessary during production Liaise with the production team to resolve technical queries and issues against drawings Maintain and update design record files in line with company quality systems Engage directly with customers to resolve design-related issues Consistently adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures What you'll need to succeed Hold a relevant Degree/Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a minimum of 2 years working in an engineering environment Proven Solid Works experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to deliver accurate designs to deadlines Initiative and capability to lead or support projects to meet customer specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team What you'll get in return Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Opportunity to work on diverse projects in a growing company Supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development Chance to see your designs come to life in our own manufacturing facility What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
