Finance Assistant – Hybrid

We are working with a fast‑growing, PE backed global technology business that continues to scale following recent success and investment. As part of this growth, they are expanding their finance function and are now seeking a Finance Assistant.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is central to ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes. The successful candidate will play a hands‑on role across payroll, ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting, while contributing to continuous improvement within a high‑performing finance team.

• Process payroll for three entities (UK/NI, Australia, and US)
• Assist with month‑end close
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintain the accounts receivable ledger
  
  Maintain the purchase ledger
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Respond to customer finance‑related queries

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, or similar)
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
