Domestic Assistant – Healthcare Ireland Group (Braefield Nursing Home, Ballymena)

Braefield Nursing Home is a welcoming, purpose‑built facility with 56 beds across three specialised units. We provide expert, person‑centred care to residents with nursing, mental health, physical disability, and dementia needs.

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to support the housekeeping team, ensuring the home remains clean, tidy, and welcoming. You will work closely with care teams and residents, building trusting relationships and contributing to their wellbeing.

• Ensure expected cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the home.
• Cover domestic duties as assigned.
• Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management.
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
• Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.

• Good standard of verbal and written English
• Relevant experience for the role

• Previous care home experience
• Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
