Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility to work fewer hours (minimum 12).

Sun: 08:00‑13:00

Mon: 09:00‑15:00

Tue: 13:00‑19:00

Thu: 13:00‑19:00

Fri: 13:00‑19:00

Sat: 13:00‑19:00

We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and give you 3‑week notice of your exact shifts.

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Apply the training received to work safely, effectively and provide brilliant customer service.
• Make decisions that benefit customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand your store’s performance, what the team needs to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
