Location: Banbury, Northern Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret BMS engineering requirements across multiple active projects.
- Supervise subcontracted BMS installation and commissioning activities in alignment with project schedules.
- Participate in daily and weekly progress meetings to confirm current performance, evaluate upcoming tasks, and flag any risks that may impact project delivery.
- Monitor subcontractor productivity to ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with expectations.
- Confirm that required materials are available on-site, maintain oversight of stock levels, and produce additional material take-offs to support uninterrupted installation.
- Verify that site teams are working from the latest issued drawings and correct revisions.
- Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures throughout the project duration.
- Confirm that all subcontractors have approved and signed RAMS prior to commencing work.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and relevant contractors throughout the life of the project.
- Evaluate labour requirements and subcontractor needs for each stage of the installation.
- Manage all BMS subcontractors to ensure they meet project, safety, and quality expectations.
- Organise and prioritise your workload effectively to ensure all programme milestones are achieved.
- Support the creation of accurate installation drawings and produce “as-installed” documentation upon project completion.
- Provide daily reporting, including completed works, outstanding issues, and a four-week forecast.
- Ensure point-to-point testing is completed, witnessed, and correctly documented.
- Assist with the development of Operation and Maintenance manuals once works are finalised.
- Work collaboratively with the wider MEP management team to proactively plan and deliver each contract.
- Coordinate with site teams and on-site contractors to ensure all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Electrical qualification in installation, engineering, or controls.
- Inspection and testing certification.
