Domestic Assistant

Join us as a Domestic Assistant at Healthcare Ireland Group to support residents in Bannview House, a modern nursing home for up to 80 occupants.

Bannview House features individual bedrooms with ensuite facilities, a lounge, dining area, and attractive gardens and patio with vistas of the countryside. The facility houses three dedicated units:
General Nursing, Dementia Nursing, and General Residential.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will support the Housekeeper in maintaining a clean, tidy, welcoming environment for residents, ensuring overall cleanliness and safety.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the home.
• Execute domestic duties as assigned.
• Identify and report any damage, faults or issues to maintenance or management.
• Adhere to cleaning and auditing schedule.
• Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Undertake any additional duties required by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.

• Previous care home experience
• Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
