Controls Engineer

Expert mechanical and electrical system knowledge with the ability to identify, diagnose and rectify breakdowns Ensure plant and equipment performance meets operational efficiency and compliance standards. Deliver and improve planned preventative maintenance across the site whilst maintaining CMMS records. Lead on instrumentation, process controls and PLC-related tasks (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley). Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production. Provide training and support to new and existing team members.

Controls Engineer Requirements:
Apprentice trained or equivalent engineering qualification Strong PLC knowledge (Diagnosing & programming) Be prepared to assist other sites with PLC systems or small automation projects (remote or on-site) Experience delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Commutable from parts of:
