HGV2 Recovery Driver

Location:

Banbury
Salary: £17 per hour to £22.41 per hour (This higher rate can be inclusive of holiday pay)

Hours:

Flexible rota, which may include weekends aswell as days or nights (Please state which hours you are able to work up on your registration)

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV2 Recovery Driver to join our growing recovery team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing a professional, friendly service and enjoys working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Recovering vehicles safely and efficiently using a HGV2 recovery truck

Providing roadside assistance and vehicle transport as required

Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Completing vehicle checks and basic maintenance

Accurately completing job paperwork and using job management systems

Working flexibly on a rota, including weekends if required

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (HGV2/LGV2/Class
2)

Driver CPC

Previous recovery or towing experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)

Good geographical knowledge and ability to use sat nav systems

Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

Ability to work under pressure and handle roadside situations calmly
