Engineering Manager — FMCG Food

About the Role

Our client, a national FMCG Food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead all engineering and maintenance functions at the factory. This role ensures machine reliability, preventive maintenance, project execution, and continuous improvement across the plant. We are looking for someone with strong technical capability, leadership discipline, and deep exposure to FMCG Food or Pharmaceutical (GMP) environments.

• Lead and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure high machine uptime, reliability, and availability for production needs.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, and utility systems across the factory.
• Plan and execute engineering improvement projects, upgrades, and automation initiatives.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Manage engineering budgets, spare parts, and cost control.
• Strengthen engineering discipline, safety standards, and compliance with GMP & HSE.
• Build and develop engineering teams to support operational excellence.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• 7–10 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Leader in FMCG Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of machine maintenance, utilities, PLC/automation, and engineering systems.
• Experience in managing engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical, utilities).
• Strong discipline, leadership presence, and hands‑on approach.
• Familiar with Lean, TPM, 5S, or continuous improvement programs.
• Willing to be based full‑time in Bandung.
