• Technical Leadership & Strategy:
  Lead the engineering team (Software, QA, Data, and AI Engineers) in developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable platforms and solutions.
• Define and drive the organisation’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with Solve Education!’s mission.
• Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced technologies to improve product performance and user experience.
• Set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices across the team.

• Product Development & Innovation:
  Collaborate with product managers, designers, and program teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive the development of education technology platforms that are reliable, secure, and user-friendly.
• Experiment with emerging technologies to continuously improve product features and delivery.
• Ensure high-quality execution, from prototyping to deployment and scaling.

• Team Management & Mentorship:
  Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Provide technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of projects.

• Operations & Stakeholder Engagement:
  Oversee system infrastructure, security, and data protection.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, technology partners, and consultants.
• Represent Solve Education! in external technology briefings, events, and collaborations.
• Contribute to cross-functional planning, ensuring technology supports program and organisational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience leading engineering or technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Track record of delivering scalable platforms, preferably in edtech, AI, or social impact sectors.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions, cloud infrastructure, and system automation.

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Node.js, React, etc.).
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Data engineering expertise, including ETL/ELT pipeline design, data warehousing solutions (Big Query, Snowflake, Redshift), and data architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to balance technical execution with leadership responsibilities.

• Based in Bandung or willing to relocate to Bandung.
• Strong interest in applying technology to solve real-world educational challenges.

• Experience working in edtech or mission-driven NGOs.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and secure system design.
