Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medications accurately as per prescription.
- Review prescriptions to ensure legality, dosage accuracy, and drug interactions.
- Maintain complete documentation and adherence to pharmacy laws and compliance standards.
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and expiry audits within the pharmacy.
- Handle billing, cash management, and retail pharmacy operations.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and record-keeping of medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, clinic staff, and vendors for smooth pharmacy operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and regulatory standards in the pharmacy.
- Support pharmacy sales while maintaining ethical dispensing practices.

Requirements

- Mandatory Karnataka State Pharmacy License (valid and active).
- Minimum 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Strong understanding of prescription validation, drug interactions, and patient counselling.
- Experience in pharmacy software, billing, and inventory management.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy operations efficiently.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of OTC products and healthcare essentials.
- Experience in handling insurance/corporate billing (optional).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
