LEAD TECHNICAL WRITER

As part of the Technical Communication team, you will lead and secure on-time delivery of technical documentation for the Line of Business. You will coordinate internal and external resources to produce high-quality print and online information for software and hardware products. As a leader, you will also coordinate and deliver technical manuals, online help, technical videos, and 3D digital assets.

Your scope of duties

Analyze documentation requirements based on use cases and target audiences
Draft user manuals, software descriptions, online help, catalogues, and other printed or digital technical documentation
Manage the creation process with internal or external technical writers and illustrators
Collaborate closely with Offer Management, Offer Development, Project Management, and Communications
Plan and deliver technical documentation, technical videos, and 3D digital assets
Use Arbotext authoring tool
Ensure quality, usability, safety compliance, and adherence to corporate identity
Mentor and train junior writers
Organize localization processes
Ensure availability of all necessary information in internal systems for production, logistics, and external use

Additional Information

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with additional education in technical writing preferred
Minimum 9 years' experience as a technical writer and at least 3 years in a Documentation Leader role
