Role

Title:

Associate Brand Assurance Analyst

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for reviewing select client-facing products for logic and coherence, grammar and punctuation, spelling, consistency, style, language usage, and formatting. Utilize available technology and a process-centered approach to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, proofreading and editing risk reports, engineering correspondence, marketing and sales collateral, policies, and a variety of written and electronic communications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure client facing products and services meet quality expectation.
- Provide input on existing linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, etc.), processes and related issues.
- Enforce editorial and brand style guidelines.
- Analyze quality issues, provide feedback and propose solutions.
- Engage with authors to define quality expectations.
- Create and maintain process documentation and assist in coaching authors on language and brand usage.
- Complete additional duties, as assigned, which support the brand assurance function.

Skill and

Experience:

- 3 years of experience required to perform essential job functions.
- Additional Experience Qualifier (optional) :
Three years of experience in writing/editing plus
- Two years in a related function. Experience enforcing editorial style guidelines.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) preferred

Experience with Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS) preferred.

Technical

Skills:

- Expert skills with MS Office suite of tools
- Excellent computer literacy and inclination to use technology for collaboration, feedback collection, data analysis, and automation
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Familiarity with Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS)

Language & Communication:

- Advanced editing, written, and grammar skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required)
- Working knowledge of other languages (strongly preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
