If so, our team would love to have you! As part of the Edge computing product engineering team, you will develop and improve new and existing features and be exposed to the full product lifecycle. You'll help build and support Edge computing product with various Virtualization, cloud platforms across its broad customer install base, and you'll have an ownership stake in the product's future.
What You Will Do
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform.
Configuration Management:
Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible.
Virtualized Development Environments:
Manage and provision development environments using Vagrant.
Monitoring & Logging:
Set up and maintain Datadog for real-time monitoring and observability.
Scripting & Automation:
Develop automation scripts in Perl and Python to streamline Dev Ops workflows.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery using Jenkins.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Deploy and manage cloud services on AWS and Azure. Might be extended to Oracle Cloud and GCP in future.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure best practices for security, access controls, and cost optimizations in cloud environments.
Incident Response:
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to maintain system reliability.
What Makes You An Ideal Candidate
Terraform:
Hands-on experience with IaC for provisioning cloud resources. Ansible:
Good understanding on writing and maintaining playbooks for system automation.
Vagrant:
Experience in managing reproducible development environments.
Datadog:
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
Scripting:
Experience in Perl and Python for automation and system management.
Version Control:
Proficient with Git/Git Hub/Git Lab for infrastructure code management.
CI/CD Tools:
Experience with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure are must, Oracle and GCP experience is a plus.
Operating Systems:
Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments.
