Role Overview :
Responsible for preparing functional and technical designs, developing and analyzing SQL/PLSQL code, and supporting Oracle Retail modules. Provide guidance to junior resources and ensure defect resolution and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional & Technical Design: Prepare functional and technical design documents for Oracle Retail Products (RMS, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, RTM, etc.).
SQL/PLSQL Development: Analyze and develop SQL/PLSQL code to support business processes in Oracle Retail modules.
Batch & Interface Understanding: Understand batch programs, interfaces, and data flows within Oracle Retail Products.
Production Support: Analyze and fix defects, monitor system performance, and provide production support as needed.
Mentorship: Groom and provide technical guidance to junior resources working on Oracle Retail modules.
Performance Optimization: Apply performance tuning techniques for SQL queries to ensure efficient processing and system stability.
Code Review & Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of existing Oracle Forms and Unix/ProC scripts for optimization and troubleshooting.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to improve functionality, efficiency, and maintainability of Oracle Retail systems.
