Role

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sarjapur, Bengaluru, for an IT Support Engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, providing help desk support,and ensuring seamless system administration. The role involves supporting the IT needs of the organization and resolving system and network-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment

• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, email, and common business applications

• Manage user accounts, access rights, and basic security settings

• Coordinate with vendors/service providers for repairs, upgrades, and AMC support

• Monitor system performance and ensure data backup and recovery procedures

• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and support logs

• Assist in onboarding/offboarding by setting up or revoking IT access

• Ensure adherence to IT policies and basic data security practices

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Hands-on experience in IT support or helpdesk roles

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking

• Familiarity with routers, switches, LAN/WAN, and internet troubleshooting

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide timely support
