Oracle Product Hub Position

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Oracle Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in Oracle database management, development, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex   Oracle databases (e.g., Oracle 12c, 19c) and applications to meet client requirements.
Implement Oracle-based solutions for performance tuning, query optimization, and ensuring high availability of systems.
Provide expert-level support for Oracle Database Administration (DBA) tasks including backup, recovery, patch management, and database performance tuning.
Work closely with development teams to design, implement, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
Perform database migrations ,  upgrades, and installations from older Oracle versions to newer versions.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and critical production system failures.
Lead the architecture and implementation of Oracle-based solutions for cloud and on-prem environments.
Monitor, audit, and maintain security policies, including user access, roles, and privileges in Oracle environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement business requirements and technical specifications.
Participate in client-facing meetings and work to understand their needs, providing technical advice and solutions.
Create detailed documentation for database systems, performance reports, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide mentorship to junior DBAs and development teams in best practices related to Oracle technologies.
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistency across database environments.
Drive process improvements and propose new technologies to enhance system efficiency and performance.

Key Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database administration and development.
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
Proven experience in Oracle Database Architecture, including database clustering, partitioning, replication, and backup strategies.
Familiarity with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, and ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
Proficiency in Oracle database installation, upgrade, patching, and migration procedures.
Solid understanding of Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle-based cloud solutions.

Experience with database security, backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or other Oracle applications is a plus.
Ability to work with third-party tools for monitoring, reporting, and database management (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager).
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills with a strong focus on resolving production issues.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and database-related lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred

Skills:

Oracle certification (e.g., OCP, OCM) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting for automating database maintenance tasks.

Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware or Oracle B I  (Business Intelligence).
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and deployment in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
