* Job Summary
* We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Lead Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will lead Snowflake implementations, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-performance analytics platforms.
* Key Responsibilities
* - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Architect scalable and secure data models using Snowflake best practices.
- Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using tools like Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Airflow, or custom frameworks.
- Implement performance tuning, query optimization, clustering, and cost optimization.
- Design and manage data ingestion from multiple sources (RDBMS, APIs, flat files, cloud storage).
- Lead and mentor junior Snowflake developers and data engineers.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
* Technical Skills (Must-Have)
* - 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing / Data Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
* Strong expertise in
* - Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, micro-partitions.
- SQL (advanced query writing and optimization).
- Data modeling (Star, Snowflake, Dimensional models).
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Strong knowledge of ELT/ETL tools (Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Python / Shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and deployment automation.
* Nice-to-Have Skills
* - Experience with dbt and modern data stack.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and role-based access control.
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Snowflake certification(s) preferred.
- Experience leading end-to-end data migration to Snowflake
