eCommerce Senior Associate – Shopify

Position Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate who is looking for an opportunity to showcase their talent in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. You will work with clients and our in-house team to develop cloud-based omnichannel eCommerce solutions primarily focusing on Shopify Plus.

Responsibilities

Create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per pre-defined brand guidelines.
Work with the UX and UI Design Teams to create unique, strong, and inventive front-end user experiences.
Design and build cutting-edge websites and web based applications for B2B and B2C

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
Must have overall 5years of experience and minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify, ideally working on Shopify Plus
Experience in developing custom themes and apps using the Shopify ecosystem.
Experience in developing Shopify Extensions (customer account , Checkout) using the Shopify Remix
Good understanding of the Shopify apps ecosystem
Experience and interest in React, Type Script, HTML, CSS, other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Exhibits a sense of urgency when dealing with break fix issues that directly impact end user utilization
Able to efficiently and effectively manage problem solving activities either in a team format or individually; must be able to communicate with diverse groups of users and developers
Exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of coding/application design best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing on a modern eCommerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify)

Experience with web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript experience preferred

Experience with React, Typescript, Remix, Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5, SASS, and Git Hub preferred
Familiarity with Responsive Web Design and Mobile application development is a plus
