SAP Basis Senior Analyst

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Senior Analyst to join our team and support our S/4

HANA Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, S/4

HANA migrations, and cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing and optimizing our SAP landscape to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

System Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure SAP S/4

HANA systems, including the underlying HANA database.
System Upgrades and Migrations:
Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations to S/4

HANA.
Performance Tuning:
Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP S/4

HANA systems.
Database Management:
Perform database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, and performance tuning for HANA databases.
System Integration:
Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4

HANA with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Security Management:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect system data.
Transport Management:
Manage the SAP transport system to move changes across different environments.
Client Administration:
Perform client administration tasks, including creation, copying, and deletion.
System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Conduct regular system health checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and updates.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and operation of SAP S/4

HANA.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

15+ years in SAP BASIS administration, particularly with S/4

HANA implementations

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SAP S/4

HANA system administration.
Strong knowledge of HANA database management.

Experience with operating systems like Unix/Linux and Windows.
Skills in performance tuning and system optimization.
Expertise in backup and recovery processes.
Understanding of SAP security concepts and tools.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and precision in managing system configurations.
