Job Summary
Senior SAP GTS Consultant with 12+ years of experience in end-to-end SAP GTS implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects. Strong expertise in global trade compliance, customs management, and integration with SAP ECC/S/4
HANA. Proven ability to lead projects, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP GTS implementations , including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Design and configure SAP GTS components:
Compliance Management (Embargo, Sanctioned Party List, Legal Control)
Customs Management
Preference Management
Risk Management
Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC / S/4
HANA (SD, MM, FI) and non-SAP systems
Conduct business requirement analysis and translate requirements into functional specifications
Configure and manage master data , document determination, and partner profiles
Handle trade compliance regulations (US, EU, APAC, LATAM, etc.)
Lead testing activities (Unit, Integration, UAT) and defect resolution
Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
Provide production support , issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership
Coordinate with business stakeholders, customs authorities, and IT teams
Prepare project documentation, training materials, and user guides
Required Skills & Expertise
12+ years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and support
Strong hands-on experience in SAP GTS 10.x / GTS E4H
Expertise in global trade compliance and customs processes
Experience with SAP ECC and S/4
HANA integration
Knowledge of IDOCs, RFCs, and middleware integration
Strong understanding of import/export regulations
