About your new role!
We’re looking for a hands-on technical SEO specialist to own the technical search strategy and execution across a portfolio of regional clients. You will partner with engineers, product managers, content leads and account teams to improve crawlability, indexing, site performance and organic growth. This role is scoped as an expert individual contributor (Senior Specialist), with or without direct interaction with the client.
Strategy
Define a pragmatic technical SEO roadmap per client, aligned to business goals and market realities (Singapore, Malaysia and wider APAC).
Translate SEO requirements into clear, prioritized tasks and delivery plans for product and engineering.
Champion an experimentation mindset and communicate impact to stakeholders in plain language.
Technical SEO
Run comprehensive technical audits covering crawl diagnostics, indexation, internal linking, schema, canonicals, robots directives, sitemaps, pagination/faceted navigation and duplicate handling.
Diagnose and resolve JavaScript SEO challenges across common rendering approaches (SSR/SSG/CSR) and ensure scalable solutions.
Design for large, multilingual and multi-market sites (hreflang, regional content logic, URL design, parameter governance).
Implement structured data at scale (JSON-LD) with robust validation processes.
Lead low-risk site migrations and re-platforming (domain/HTTPS, CMS/e-commerce) with clear mitigation and recovery plans.
Performance, UX & Core Web Vitals
Partner with engineering to improve LCP, INP and CLS using data-driven diagnostics (resource hints, critical CSS, image optimization, lazy-loading strategies, JS budget, server timing, CDN tuning).
Establish performance guardrails and monitor regressions.
Analytics, Measurement & Reporting
Design measurement frameworks that map SEO initiatives to GA4/GSC metrics and revenue proxies.
Build concise dashboards and exec readouts linking technical changes to traffic, index coverage and conversions.
Set up monitoring and alerting for crawl errors, index anomalies, page speed regressions and ranking volatility.
Automation & Tooling
Use and extend industry tools (GSC, Screaming Frog, Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse, log parsers).
Streamline repetitive checks using preferred workflows (e.g., XML sitemap diffs, hreflang validation, orphan detection, templated schema).
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with developers to scope acceptance criteria and validate releases; provide clear reproduction steps and solutions.
Partner with content and digital PR teams to align technical foundations with content velocity and link acquisition.
Contribute to playbooks and standards; mentor junior SEOs informally.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Define robots and crawl-rate policies; manage indexation ure SEO-friendly security and infrastructure decisions (HTTPS/HSTS, redirect hygiene, canonical strategy, cache headers).
Maintain documentation for change logs, release notes and rollback procedures.
What We’d Love To See From You
3 - 6+ years in SEO with a strong technical focus; agency or product-side experience with large/complex sites.
Expertise with crawling tools (Screaming Frog) and strong proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console and Looker Studio.
Working knowledge of web fundamentals (HTML/CSS/HTTP), JavaScript frameworks (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt) and common rendering modes.
Familiarity with CDNs and edge platforms and how to leverage them for SEO (redirects, caching, image optimisation).
