Job Description – Product Analyst
Profile Summary
We are looking for a Product Analyst who will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations teams to analyze product performance and user behavior. The role focuses on measuring impact, identifying gaps in the user journey, running experiments, and enabling data-driven product decisions across the product lifecycle.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large-scale product and user interaction data across customer and internal platforms
Build analytics around product funnels, conversion, drop-offs, and churn
Conduct deep-dive analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) on product and user issues
Perform trend, cohort, and variance analysis to evaluate product performance
Product Metrics & Reporting
Define and track key product metrics and KPIs
Build daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards for product and business stakeholders
Measure impact of product changes, feature launches, and experiments
Share insights and recommendations with cross-functional teams
Experimentation & Insights
Design, track, and analyze experiments and A/B tests
Evaluate activation, retention, engagement, and user behavior
Enable self-serve analytics for product and growth teams
Data Platform & Tools
Write optimized queries using SQL on large datasets
Work with product analytics tools and data platforms
Use Python and Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and automation
Tools & Skills
SQL (MySQL or similar)
Product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clever Tap, etc.)
Python, Excel, Google Sheets
Dashboarding and data visualization tools
Must-Have Skills
Strong SQL and analytical problem-solving skills
Understanding of product funnels, cohorts, retention, and growth metrics
Ability to translate data into actionable product insights
Experience working with cross-functional product teams
Qualifications
B.Tech from a premium university
1–3 years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Analytics, or similar roles
Preferred industries:
Consumer tech, mobility, fintech, marketplaces
