Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of SEO to lead and scale a global SEO function for a B2B SaaS business. This role owns end-to-end SEO strategy across regions, with a strong focus on technical SEO, content visibility, AI-powered search experiences , and next-generation optimization techniques.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive organic growth across traditional search engines as well as emerging AI-driven and voice-based discovery platforms .
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
Lead and scale end-to-end SEO strategy across multiple regions (India, US, Middle East).
Own technical SEO, content SEO, and off-page initiatives .
Drive organic visibility across Google, Bing , and emerging AI-powered search platforms (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
Develop and execute Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.
Optimize content for featured snippets, answer boxes, and voice search .
Implement structured data and schema markup to improve crawlability and rankings.
AI & Automation
Leverage AI-powered tools and automation for keyword research, content creation, and SEO workflow optimization.
Track evolving AI search trends and algorithm updates to stay ahead of the curve.
Analytics & Performance
Monitor and analyze SEO performance, rankings, traffic, conversions, and growth metrics.
Build dashboards and report SEO KPIs and insights to leadership.
Translate data into actionable recommendations and strategy improvements.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate closely with Content, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure SEO is embedded across initiatives.
Manage and scale external agencies, consultants, and freelancers as needed.
Provide thought leadership and guidance on SEO best practices across the organization.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in SEO , preferably in fast-paced digital or product-led environments.
Mandatory: Proven experience in B2B SaaS SEO .
Strong expertise in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO .
Deep understanding of AI-driven search evolution , including AEO, GEO, and SGE.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer , or similar.
Strong analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving mindset.
Proven ability to lead teams or manage external partners .
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
