Role
Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with expertise in Prompt and Context Engineering to help shape intuitive user experiences for AI-driven products. This hybrid role combines design thinking, user research, and interaction design with prompt and context engineering for large language models (LLMs), ensuring that our AI interfaces are not only visually engaging but also contextually intelligent, reliable, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design
Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for AI-enabled applications.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on insights.
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to align design with functionality.
Prompt & Context Engineering
Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLM-based workflows, ensuring high-quality and predictable outputs.
Develop context frameworks (system messages, grounding strategies, metadata injection, retrieval pipelines) to improve reliability and personalization of AI responses.
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to implement and evaluate prompt templates, fine-tuned context flows, and AI-driven UX experiments.
Maintain documentation and best practices for prompt design, ensuring scalability across products.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, or related field.
2+ years of experience in UI/UX design and at least 1+ year of AI/LLM prompt engineering experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work (web, mobile, or AI interfaces).
Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and context-aware AI systems.
Understanding of information architecture, human-AI interaction, and usability heuristics.
Bonus:
Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or conversational AI design.
What You’ll Do:
Design for impact → Create wireframes, flows, and polished prototypes that make AI tools feel effortless to use.
Engineer prompts & context → Write, test, and refine prompts, context frameworks, and templates that ensure LLMs deliver reliable and high-quality outputs.
Bridge UX & AI → Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product teams to align user needs with AI behavior.
Own the user journey → Run rapid user testing, gather feedback, and iterate at startup speed.
Experiment & innovate → Push boundaries on how design + AI can unlock new products, markets, and business models.
Maintain documentation and best practices for prompt design, ensuring scalability across products.
What You Bring:
A portfolio that shows taste in UI/UX across web or mobile apps.
Hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
Curiosity and skills in prompt engineering—you know how to get the best out of LLMs.
Understanding of human-AI interaction and how context shapes responses.
Bonus points if you’ve played with RAG, embeddings, or agentic workflows.
