ETL Developer - Snowflake and Matillion

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable  ETL/ELT pipelines  using  Matillion and Snowflake .
Architect, build, and optimize  data models  to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Drive  data integration  from multiple on-prem and cloud sources into Snowflake.
Implement and maintain best practices in  data quality, governance, and security .
Collaborate with  BI and analytics teams  to enable data-driven insights.
Mentor and guide junior data engineers on  technical best practices and development standards .
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for  performance and reliability .
Automate workflows, deployment, and testing processes using  CI/CD tools .
Partner with stakeholders to translate  business requirements into scalable data solutions .
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in  data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles .
Strong expertise in  Snowflake  – architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with  Matillion ETL  for building and orchestrating complex pipelines.
Proficiency in  SQL  and data transformation scripting.

Experience with  cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) , preferably AWS.
Knowledge of  data lake concepts, schema design, and best practices in data architecture .
Familiarity with  Python  or similar scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.
Strong understanding of  data governance, data quality, and security frameworks .
Exposure to  CI/CD, Git, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) .
