About the Role
As a Business Analyst III, you will operate as a high-impact individual contributor, leading some of our most complex and critical analytics projects across different business charters. You are a subject matter expert who translates ambiguous business challenges into clear, data-driven solutions and strategies.
This role requires you to take full end-to-end ownership of your projects, from problem structuring and defining the analytical approach to delivering insights and ensuring their successful adoption. You will leverage your deep technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling to tackle complex data challenges. Beyond your own projects, you will act as a key technical mentor for other analysts, helping to establish best practices and elevate the analytical capabilities of the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

● Strategic Problem Solving & Impact:
○ Drive problem-structuring for technically complex and often ambiguous business problems, independently defining sophisticated or novel analytical approaches. ○ Leverage your understanding of business rules, focus, and industry trends to identify opportunities and generate insights that influence strategic direction.
○ Take initiative to drive major projects, process improvements, and innovations in Analytics that deliver significant business impact.

● End-to-End Project Leadership:
○ Independently manage complex analytics projects from end-to-end across multiple business charters, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
○ Finalize effort estimates, prioritize tasks, and define project timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and blockers.
○ Drive the successful implementation and adoption of your analytical solutions to achieve business goals.

● Technical Excellence & Best Practices:
○ Demonstrate deep expertise in SQL and Python by writing modular, scalable, and well-documented code for complex analyses.
○ Design scalable analytical frameworks and data models that support evolving business needs and long-term decision-making.

● Mentorship & Influence:
○ Act as a mentor to other analysts, guiding them on technical topics, problem-solving approaches, and adhering to quality standards.
○ Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions to improve the expertise of your peers and elevate the team's overall technical bar.
○ Collaborate effectively with and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, communicating complex insights and recommendations with clarity and conviction

Must Haves

● 5-7 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

● Deep proficiency in  SQL  and  Python  for complex data extraction, analysis, and modeling.

● Strong practical understanding of statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression)

● Proven ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional analytical projects from start to finish.

● Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to structure and solve ambiguous business problems.

● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

● Preferred / Nice-to-Haves:
○ Master’s degree in a quantitative field like Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
○ Experience in a high-growth fintech or tech company.
○ Experience designing and implementing scalable analytical frameworks or data models.
○ A passion for mentoring and helping to develop the skills of fellow analysts.
