Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the positions of Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator for the ICSSR-funded project titled: “Women’s Leadership in Rural Healthcare:
Evaluating Gender-Sensitive Health Systems and Community Well-being in Karnataka” under Project Director, Dr. Salma Begum, Co-Project Directors
- Dr. Uma C Swadimath and Dr. Shalu Singh, Faculty of Management Studies, CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed to be University).

The details of the positions are as follows:
Research Position :
Research Associate
No. of Posts:  1
Salary (Rs./Month)  : 47,000/
- Period of Appointment  : 10 months or End of Project

Required Qualifications :

Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. and a minimum of 2 years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project.

Research Position :  Research Assistant
No. of Posts:  1
Salary (Rs./Month)  : 37,000/
- Period of Appointment  : 5 months,extendable based on project requirements

Required Qualifications :

Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Research Position :  Field Investigator
No. of Posts:  1
Salary (Rs./Month)  :20,000/
- Period of Appointment  :4 months, extendable based on project requirements

Required Qualifications :  Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

Additional Requirements:

1. Candidates must have proficiency in Kannada and English (reading, writing, and
speaking).
2. The Field Investigator should be willing to travel to the selected districts—Tumakuru,
Raichur, Chamarajanagar, and Uttara Kannada—for data collection.
3. The Research Staff should be proficient in SPSS/STATA and NVivo
