Project Overview:
This project investigates:
a) The association between long-term ambient air pollution (PM2.5) exposure and anaemia among Women of Reproductive Age (WRA) in India, and how this relationship may be moderated by fruit and vegetable intake , using secondary data .
b) A prospective study to evaluate the effect modification by antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients on the association between long-term PM2.5 exposure and anaemia among adolescent girls aged 18–25 years .
Preferred Qualifications:
Any graduate degree (social sciences, life sciences, public health, or related fields preferred)
Experience in community-based fieldwork or data collection activities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Field Data Collection
Conduct surveys, interviews, and observational assessments using structured tools to gather accurate and high-quality field data.
Project Implementation Support
Assist in the on-ground execution of project activities, including participant coordination, logistics, and adherence to data collection protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement
Establish and maintain effective communication with local stakeholders, community leaders, and participants to facilitate smooth project operations.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily records of field activities and provide regular updates to the project team, ensuring timely reporting of any challenges.
