Salary: Up to £63,000 DOE, with a welcome bonus up to £5,000.

Location: Rathgael Garden Lodge Vets – Bangor, Holywood, and Stormont. Part‑time role (24 hours a week across five days, 9 am‑12 pm Saturday mornings). No out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties.

• Provide veterinary consultations across all three sites, building continuity of care with clients and their pets.
• Carry out routine surgical procedures including spays, lump removals, abdominal surgeries, and a wide range of dental work.
• Manage in‑house cases and coordinate specialist referrals when specialist support is required.
• Assist the nursing team with wellness checks, post‑operative discharges, and surgical assistance.
• Collaborate within a close‑knit team of six veterinarians, six RVNs, and 12 support staff (receptionists, ACAs, administrators, and the practice manager).
• Participate in mentorship and continuous professional development through the IVC Evidensia Academy and CPD programmes.

• Licensed with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and in good standing with the RCVS.
• Certificate(s) in Small Animal Surgery, General Practice, or Orthopaedics.
• Experience in a small‑animal practice (preferred).
