Trainee Sterile Cleaner – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

£28,275 per annum

Permanent, Full Time

37.5 hours per week. Shift pattern: one week 06:00–14:30, next week 13:30–22:00, alternating. Training may include a few weeks of night shift.

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area, when work needs to be carried out, and the cleaning equipment and chemicals used, following Health and Safety requirements.
• Complete all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and independently as needed.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, deliver excellent customer service and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Flexible approach to the role.
• Open, honest, self‑driven and determined.
