Part-Time Care Home Cooks (x2) – Cedars House, Barnet

Barnet, Hertfordshire

Hours:

21 hours per week across 7 days (including weekends) – 7 : 00am start

Salary: £12.82 per hour

• Preparing and serving balanced, home-cooked meals with variety and choice.
• Maintaining consistently high standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Managing stock, food orders, and expenditure within budget.
• Supervising the Kitchen Assistant and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Engaging with residents to review satisfaction and gather feedback on meals.
• Ensuring compliance with Care Tech policies, food safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

• You must have an understanding of modified diets of each level
• Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail and minimal supervision.
