Parking Enforcement Officer – Barnet

Mobile Civil Enforcement Officer – 42.5 hours per week – £33,525.70 per annum (£15.17 per hour).

Do you enjoy working outdoors, helping people, and have great communication skills? Do you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy being on the go? Are you over 18 and have a full manual UK driving licence? Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local area, patrolling, advising residents, and enforcing parking restrictions. You will work alongside the Council at one of our North London bases, with permanent guaranteed hours.

• Issuing parking tickets without targets, focusing on a positive impact on the local neighbourhood.
• Reporting defects to street furniture such as signs and road markings and looking out for violations of civil laws.
• Keeping a detailed log of violations and debriefing incidents that occur during your shift.
• Providing a high level of all-round customer service, giving the public useful information and advice.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driving licence.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Full UK Manual, clean driving licence or CBT licence.

Full time, 42.5 hours per week, 5 days out of seven, 8.5 hour shifts, Mon–Sun (per rota).
