📍 Barnet, North London | 💷 £80,000 – £95,000 + package | 🏗️ Permanent
A well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking a strong Senior Site Manager or Project Manager to lead a major cut and carve project in Barnet, North London.
The scheme involves the conversion of an existing office block into 220 modern apartments, requiring a manager with proven experience in complex refurbishment and structural alteration projects.
The Role:
You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality. Working closely with the design and commercial teams, you’ll manage all subcontractors, oversee sequencing, and drive progress through key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site activities from start to handover.
* Oversee structural alterations, internal fit-out, and façade upgrades.
* Coordinate subcontractors, logistics, and site teams.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control.
* Liaise closely with the client, design, and commercial teams.
* Produce short-term programmes and progress reports.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager on cut & carve / refurbishment / conversion projects.
* Strong technical understanding of structural alterations and internal reconfigurations.
* Previous experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage fast-paced projects with multiple interfaces.
