Trainee Estimator / Commercial Administrator

£20,000-£35,000 per annum (with future increased earning potential and car allowance and bonus)

TS Recruitment is working with a well-established subcontractor based in Barnsley, looking to recruit a Trainee / Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

Salary: £22,000 - £35,000 per annum (subject to experience/ age / minimum wage)

• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• Pension scheme (after 3-month qualifying period)
• Training and mentoring from a Senior Estimator
• Support through additional training and qualifications
• Hours:
  
  Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Support the Estimating team with a variety of admin and commercial duties
• Track tender enquiries, setting up tender files and download all relevant documents
• Liaise with the Estimating team, passing on project information and enquiries
• Review tenders with the Estimating team and submit
• Assist in cost comparison analysis
• Provide general admin support to the estimating team
• Attend client meetings

• Respected subcontractor in the construction industry.
• Delivers commercial projects up to £6 million in value.
• Committed to staff development, offering ongoing training, incentives, and career growth opportunities.

• Are you currently studying or have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
• Aiming to pursue a long-term career in construction.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
