Multi- Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Are you an electrical maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge? Due to the introduction of a new line, we are expanding the current maintenance team. Ideally, we are looking for a Multi‑Skilled engineer with a electrical bias, but we are open to speaking to electrically biased engineers too.

With a very settled team this role is available to a recent promotion to engineering team leader.

Over the last couple of years the site have recently installed a new CMMS system and stores, with new lines and an overhaul project recently completed.

While this is a fast paced food manufacturing environment, we will consider engineers from all backgrounds, including engineers exiting the forces.

• Both reactive and planned maintenance on high‑speed packing machinery.
• Undertake machine start up routine and non‑routine planned shutdown as required.
• To undertake full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• To communicate machine status and performance across shift.
• Working in partnership with the production team and ensuring optimum output.

• Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
• NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3 either Mechanically or Electrically.
