Part-time Financial Controller required in Barnsley

About the role:

We are looking for a detailed‑oriented and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part‑Time Finance People to support our clients in Barnsley and surrounding areas.

About You:

You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self‑employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:
  • preparation of management accounts/reports
  • balance sheet reconciliations
  • cashflow and profit forecasting
  • experience and working knowledge of Xero ( ideally exposure with Sage
    50, Quick Books as well)
  • experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
  • be commercially experienced
  • year‑end processes (but not statutory accounts)
  • experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
  • proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
  • you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
Rate of pay:

£35 per hour

Barnsley (Onsite)

2-3 days available
