We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to Join our Barnsley Schools Account in Astrea Academy Dearne, Goldthorpe Road, Goldthorpe, Doncaster S63 9EW
- This role will be based on site.

The salary is £12.82 per hour.

The hours of work will be:
10.75 hours per week.

Thursday & Friday: 05:30am - 07:30am

Amey provides facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across 11 schools, ensuring high-quality, safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for teachers and students. They work in partnership with clients and end-users to deliver 24/7 services to the highest standard with minimal disruption to the schools' daily operations.

What you will do:
  • Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
  • Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
  • Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
  • Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
  • This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
