This is a small, nurturing solo placement home designed to offer stability, safety, and emotional development for one young person with EBD and trauma‑related needs.
💫 Who We Are Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. And this may suit a Senior or Deputy Manager looking to step up and learn from the Registered Manager.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards it)
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare
- Previous experience supervising RSW or SRSW within an Ofsted‑registered children’s home
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks (SCCIF)
- Leadership and team management skills
- A valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car

As the Trainee Registered Manager
, you will work alongside the Registered Manager.
Duties include:
- Hold overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the home
- Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
- Oversee admissions, care planning, and quality assurance
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and emotional wellbeing for each young person
- Represent the service in meetings with professionals, commissioners, and Ofsted
