This is a permanent role with a guaranteed basic salary, enhanced overtime rates, multiple bonus schemes, and a clear skills structure that rewards development and progression as you grow within the business.

In the role, you will be operating modern CNC machining centres within a world-class manufacturing environment, working to high quality and workmanship standards. You will follow daily production plans to ensure output targets are met, contribute ideas for continuous improvement, and work closely with the wider machining team to maintain smooth workflow, Kanban stock levels, and fault-free handovers between processes. This is a hands-on, technically engaging role where attention to detail, teamwork, and pride in quality are valued and recognised.

You will work in a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm the other with a early finish on the Friday.

This role would suit an apprentice-trained CNC Machining Technician with solid experience in CNC programmes and parameters, who enjoys working in a structured yet supportive environment, and who is keen to continue developing their skills within a leading engineering manufacturer that actively encourages training, progression, and internal promotion.

The Role

• Operating CNC milling machines (Doosan) within a double day shift pattern, including an early Friday finish
• Producing high-quality components to meet output, quality, and safety standards in a cutting-edge facility
• Supporting continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes, tooling, and production efficiency

The Person

• CNC machining experience
• Happy working rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm and a early Friday finish
• Based in Barnsley
