CNC Miller; Cell Leader

Position: CNC Miller (Cell Leader) (Permanent)
JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Barnsley to recruit for an experienced CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer (Cell Leader) to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled CNC Miller to take a lead role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment — supporting a busy precision machining cell and helping drive quality, output, and efficiency.
The Successful CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer (Cell Leader) – Package:

* Pay: £19.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience) + 6% monthly bonus

* Hours:

40 hours per week – Days

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

* Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm

* Contract Type:
Permanent, full-time

* Overtime available at premium rates

The Successful CNC Miller – Setter, Operator, Programmer (Cell Leader) – Requirements:

* Minimum of 7 years’ CNC programming experience within a precision engineering environment

* Proven ability to set, operate, and program CNC milling machines

* Experience with Hurco controls highly desirable

* Confident producing complex precision components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings

* Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, and machining best practices

* Ability to lead a small team, prioritise workflow, and ensure production targets are met

* A proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills
