Fabricator Welder

We are currently working with a heavy engineering business in Barnsley to recruit a number of Fabricator Welders. These roles are suitable for experienced Fabricators with at least 5 years' experience working with heavy steel.

You will be working with steel ranging from 6mm up to 50mm in thickness. These are on a Temporary basis but with the distinct possibility of a transfer to a permanent role.

The Job

• MIG and Stick welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabricating various types of heavy steel components
• Operating overhead cranes
• General workshop duties as required

You

• Minimum 5 years' fabrication experience
• Proven background working with heavy steel
• Able to work independently and use your own initiative

Pay & Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:45pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
• Pay dependent on experience (minimum 15 per hour)
• Regular overtime is available
