Accounts Semi Senior

Working closely with an approachable and experienced manager, you’ll play an important role in looking after a varied client base and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working on a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies
• Preparing monthly and year-end accounts
• Assisting with both personal and corporate tax compliance
• Managing VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks
• Attending client meetings and handling day-to-day queries

About you:

• Ideally AAT qualified (though we welcome applications from those with relevant experience but without formal qualifications)
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Previous recent experience within an accountancy practice is essential
• Experience at Technician or Semi-Senior level preferred
• Ability to work from our Barnstaple or South Molton offices (North Devon).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships
