As a Graduate Trainee Accountant, you will join the business on a structured training pathway, working directly with clients while studying towards an ACA or ACCA qualification. You will gain hands on experience across core accounting and advisory work, building commercial awareness alongside technical knowledge. This is a client facing role with variety, responsibility and plenty of support from experienced colleagues as you develop confidence and capability.

• Work directly with clients across a range of industries
• Prepare accounts and financial statements
• Support audit assignments and tax return preparation
• Learn about business structures, valuations and financial performance
• Contribute to client meetings and ongoing advisory work

• Salary of £24,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
• Full ACA or ACCA training with ongoing support

Must have:

• On track for a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject
• At least BBC at A level or equivalent
• Full driving licence and access to a car
• Ability to commute to Barnstaple
• Motivation to begin an ACA or ACCA training contract in August 2026
