This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the Clinical Trials Team as a Senior Research Administrator Band 4 based at North Devon District Hospital.

The Senior Research Administrator will work as part of the Research delivery team to support the safe conduct of research in line with the Research Governance Framework, Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and organisational policies. They will ensure the rights, safety, and well-being of trial participants are protected while contributing to research activities.

The role includes administrative tasks responsibilities involve maintaining study files, preparing documentation, and assisting with the coordination of research activities. The role will require competence with IT skills, managing electronic files, databases and research platforms. They must be able to plan, implement and manage their allotted tasks with concurrent research projects. There will be a requirement to work within a wide range of specialties;

therefore, this role requires a degree of flexibility and confidence.

The role requires good organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and supporting in the setting up and running of clinical trials.

Previous experience in administration is essential, and training will be provided as needed.

Working within Clinical Trials is a challenging yet rewarding role which involves working on studies that will potentially impact on patient treatments in the future.

Working Pattern:37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday
