Greenergy is a national UK fuel supplier and a leading European manufacturer of waste‑based renewables. To deliver fuel to our customers, we have a 24/7 in‑house haulage operation made up of over 600 drivers and a fleet of over 200 tankers. Greenergy Flexigrid manages over 500 deliveries per day and operates out of over 20 depots nationwide, making over 182,000 deliveries to 3,100 customers each year.

We are currently recruiting Long Haul Tanker Delivery Drivers to work out of our Barnstaple site. This role is Monday - Friday, however, you will need to be flexible as the role will include up to 4 nights out per week.

You will be responsible for the safe delivery of various fuels to commercial customer sites in line with Greenergy’s delivery procedures across a geographical area. Being the ‘face of Greenergy’ you must be committed to delivering first class customer service and represent the company in a professional and polite manner at all times.

• Delivery of various fuels to a variety of commercial customers.
• Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
• Adhering to both legal and Company policies at all times and ensuring that all vehicle checks are completed, and defects are reported in a timely manner.
• The delivery of quality customer service whilst demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• To safely operate the vehicle and depot equipment as required, following Greenergy’s standard procedures at all times.
• To build effective relationships with internal colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations.
• Accurate completion of all delivery paperwork.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK with LGV Cat C+E and a minimum of two years commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid and up to date CPC and Digi Card.
• A good understanding of driver regulations and the Working Time Directive, Skills and Digital Tacho Cards.
• Must be professional, flexible and self‑motivated.
• Basic IT knowledge is required as you will be operating in cab technology.
• No penalty points.
• Must hold a valid in date ADR Certificate.
• Experience in transportation of Dangerous Goods.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
